Apache Pinot
Pinot 1.6 adds SQL DDL and vector backends, and now needs Java 25 to run its services.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Okta and v0 by Vercel — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Okta adds TypeScript to its Cross App Access guides and dates the end of Classic Engine features
Okta's developer feed is still led by Cross App Access, the token-exchange grant that lets an app or agent reach a third-party API on a user's behalf from an existing SSO trust. The newest guide builds a TypeScript MCP client with it, following an earlier C# version. The other notable item is a hard date: from March 5, 2027, Okta ends support for SSR, Desktop SSO and Device Trust on Classic Engine.
v0 lets ChatGPT subscribers pay with their plan and pulls Slack in as working context.
v0's recent releases concentrate on who pays and where context comes from. ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers can spend their plan instead of v0 credits, personal accounts became team workspaces, and the model picker now browses AI Gateway models with token pricing and Enterprise owner controls. Slack joined through MCP, and a lighter Code tab lets users edit files and leave comments as prompt context.

The XAA guides keep working through federation shapes and languages rather than adding a new grant. The Classic Engine notice points the same way from the platform side: customers are being moved onto Okta Identity Engine, with the end-of-support date as the push. Both threads are about adoption of what already exists.
Expect more Identity Engine migration guidance ahead of March 2027, alongside further XAA walkthroughs for other languages and agent frameworks.

The billing change is the directional one: eligible responses no longer have to be paid for in v0 credits. Paired with a picker that shows token prices, v0 is treating the model layer as something users bring or choose, while it competes on the builder, the collaboration surface and deployment. Making every account a workspace puts team features in front of solo users.
The ChatGPT option suggests other model subscriptions could be connected, though these entries name no other provider. More MCP connectors after Slack are the likeliest near-term release, given the existing connector pattern.
