Jenkins is shedding the assumptions of its 1.x inheritance — bundled plugins, permissive deserialization, ad-hoc UI — without breaking the weekly cadence that keeps admins upgrading. Expect the experimental Manage Jenkins UI to keep absorbing one or two pages per release until it is ready to become the default.
