Before this train, the product spent June and early July on maintenance releases explicitly described as clearing the way for 6.14.0.

What is LangGraph?

The feed carries the LangGraph monorepo's per-package release tags — the core library, the CLI, and three checkpoint backends — each publishing a raw commit list under a version-only title. InvokeAI is broadening on two axes at once - what it can generate, and what it can run on. The model list grows most releases, but the hardware work is the harder-won part: multi-GPU in RC1, native Intel XPU in RC2, ROCm 7.1 in the 6.13.5 maintenance cut, plus VRAM behavior fixes and idle-GPU offloading for text encoders. For a self-hosted tool, running on whatever silicon a user already owns is the constraint that decides adoption, and it is being addressed release by release.

◆ Prediction

The RC series has absorbed two rounds of additions without a final tag, so expect either an RC3 or the 6.14.0 release itself next, with the pressure-sensitive canvas and workflow-to-workflow calls named back in June still outstanding.

Checkpointing — how agent state is persisted and replayed — is where the engineering attention is concentrated, and the specific fixes are the kind that only surface once people run long-lived graphs against real databases rather than in notebooks. The second thread is that TracePolicy has not settled: added to add_node, then narrowed, then reverted outright, then re-exposed in the newest release, which puts the observability surface visibly still in design. Neither thread changes what LangGraph is for; both are the work of making a 1.x framework survive production use.

◆ Prediction

The checkpoint packages will most likely keep releasing in lockstep with the core library, since a single change routinely fans out across three tags. Whether trace_policy survives this time is the open question these entries do not answer.
