Scalingo
Scalingo is back to routine runtime updates after its October router incident.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Groonga and QGroundControl — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Groonga is putting a full-text search engine into WebAssembly and the browser.
Groonga ships every one to three weeks, and the 16.1 line has a clear thread: experimental WASI support. 16.1.2 added a WASI groonga command and a browser build that downloads a database over HTTP on demand, 16.1.4 extended WASI to tokenizer and normalizer options, and 16.1.5 linked plugins statically so they work under WASI. Alongside that, 16.1.1 made logical_select run shards and drilldowns in parallel, measured at 1.5x faster with two workers.
QGroundControl's v5.1.5 patch restores mission commands lost to a translation bug.
QGroundControl v5.1 went stable on August 20 after two release candidates, with a corrected HUD pitch direction as the headline behavior change. Patches followed: v5.1.4 with nineteen fixes on August 30, and v5.1.5 on October 1, which restores mission commands lost to broken enum translations, fixes ArduPilot takeoff when already armed, and repairs log downloads and camera controls. A v5.2 development base was tagged on September 19.

The WebAssembly work is moving piece by piece from the core command to options and plugins, which points toward a usable in-browser search engine. Every WASI item is still marked experimental and not stable.
Expect more WASI coverage in the next 16.1.x releases, with the experimental label likely to stay for now.

The v5.1 line is in repair mode with fixes on a monthly rhythm, while v5.2 work has opened in daily builds. No v5.2 features are described in the feed yet.
Another v5.1 patch is likely before any v5.2 release candidate; the v5.2 schedule is unclear.
