What is ggsurvfit?

ggsurvfit is in correctness-and-compatibility mode, not feature mode.

The package draws survival and cumulative-incidence curves on a ggplot2 grammar, with risk tables, p-values and quantile annotations. Recent releases are entirely fixes and upstream tracking: ggplot2 v4.0.0 compatibility in 2025, and a 2026 patch correcting a Gray-test p-value that could be reported for the wrong competing event.

What is Rho?

Rho is building an agentic R IDE in public, one signed prerelease at a time.

Rho ships only development prereleases — a Windows build stamp in July, then two 0.4.0 candidates in August. The 0.4.0-dev.39 notes are the first to describe the product rather than the build: provider-first model settings with capability-based routing, project-scoped agent conversations with bounded concurrency and per-file Apply/Undo, and AGPL-3.0-only licensing. Release engineering gets as much text as features — signing, notarization, checksums, and an actor-bound acceptance record.

ANALYTICS
2.5

ggsurvfit is in correctness-and-compatibility mode, not feature mode.

◆ Current state

The package draws survival and cumulative-incidence curves on a ggplot2 grammar, with risk tables, p-values and quantile annotations. Recent releases are entirely fixes and upstream tracking: ggplot2 v4.0.0 compatibility in 2025, and a 2026 patch correcting a Gray-test p-value that could be reported for the wrong competing event.

◆ Where it's heading

The feature surface settled around 1.0.0, when risk-table alignment was exported and colour and linetype defaults became configurable. Since then the work is keeping pace with survival, ggplot2 and tidycmprsk changes, and closing cases where the plotted curve and the annotation disagreed — the p-value matched by position rather than name, confidence limits swapped for multi-state models, quantiles read off a plateau.

◆ Prediction

Expect the next release to track upstream survival or ggplot2 changes rather than add plotting features; the CDISC censoring convention adopted in Surv_CNSR() suggests further alignment with clinical data standards is the likelier direction.

Rho
ANALYTICS
6.3

Rho is building an agentic R IDE in public, one signed prerelease at a time.

◆ Current state

Rho ships only development prereleases — a Windows build stamp in July, then two 0.4.0 candidates in August. The 0.4.0-dev.39 notes are the first to describe the product rather than the build: provider-first model settings with capability-based routing, project-scoped agent conversations with bounded concurrency and per-file Apply/Undo, and AGPL-3.0-only licensing. Release engineering gets as much text as features — signing, notarization, checksums, and an actor-bound acceptance record.

◆ Where it's heading

The direction is an R IDE where a model-driven agent edits files under explicit user control, with the provider left open rather than bundled. Each release tightens the evidence chain around the binaries at least as hard as it tightens the feature set, and the notes name exactly which human checks were skipped and why. Nothing in the feed is presented as production-ready.

◆ Prediction

Expect the 0.4.0 line to keep iterating as dev builds until a Windows device and an enabled-Gatekeeper Mac clear the two outstanding human checks; a stable tag looks unlikely before that.
