DNSimple's origin name servers answer a quarter faster at p90 after erldns work
DNSimple keeps tuning the Erlang stack it now runs end to end. The November 4 post says p90 query time on its origin name servers is down about a quarter, and about a third for DNSSEC queries, with roughly a third less CPU, and record changes now switch in one step so existing records never briefly disappear. It follows October's dns_erlang rewrite, which cut CPU per query by 12%, and the August finish of the migration to fully owned infrastructure. Above that layer sit the CLI launched in May, browser login from June, and Domain Trustee.
Hoppscotch adds an enterprise cloud tier and an AI assistant, then turns to desktop trust.
Hoppscotch's September release introduced Enterprise Cloud, a tier with IAM, SSO, audit logs and dedicated support, and an AI Assistant for Enterprise Self-Host that can edit and run requests, manage collections and publish documentation. October was quieter: 2026.10.0 made the desktop app honor the operating system's trust store and hardened self-host default secrets, and 2026.10.1 fixes bundle origin permissions on Windows desktop and opens chat reply links in the browser.

Since owning its full DNS edge, DNSimple has turned to measurable performance work on erldns and dns_erlang, published openly. The product layer above, CLI and API clients, is moving more slowly.
Expect more erldns and dns_erlang performance posts; the entries show no sign of a new customer-facing product soon.

After August's unified workspace, the visible direction is commercial. New capability is arriving in enterprise editions, and two patch releases in September were enterprise-only or version syncs with no Community Edition change. The October work on corporate CAs and default secrets suits the same buyer, because both are problems that show up inside managed networks.
Expect the AI Assistant to expand from Enterprise Self-Host toward Enterprise Cloud, since both now exist. Whether any of it reaches the Community Edition is not stated in these notes.
