Deepnote's agent now runs from first prompt to finished notebook without handoffs.
Deepnote's most recent entry, in October, makes Deepnote Agent a single agent that keeps context from the first instruction to the finished notebook, and lets private and shared projects sit in the same folder. It builds on June's native Codex connection to a workspace's notebooks, schedules and data, and July's MCP tools that let agents create and attach integrations. Spring releases added run snapshots, Git sync, Polars support, PDF export and AI usage metering.
This feed samples OpenSearch Dashboards; its latest entry is a 2.19.7 notes commit.
The feed carries release-branch commits rather than release notes, so the visible record is five entries from July 2025 to October 2026. The latest, on October 16, adds release notes for 2.19.7, which shows the 2.19 maintenance line is still being patched alongside 3.x. Before that, the 3.8.0 notes commit in July and Vega CVE fixes on 2.19 are the only substantive items.

The notebook is being repositioned as a workspace agents operate in, both Deepnote's own agent and external ones like Codex. Releases have slowed from monthly in spring to one entry each in July and October.
Further agent capabilities or more external agent connections are the likeliest next move; the slower cadence makes timing hard to read.

The 2.19 line keeps getting maintenance releases while 3.x moves on. The feed is too sparse to show what either line is shipping.
Expect further 2.19.x and 3.x notes commits; what they contain is unclear from this feed.
