MotherDuck
MotherDuck rebuilds its UI so the first thing you see is an agent, not a SQL editor.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Calibre and Apache SeaTunnel — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Calibre MCP lets your coding agent read RUM and Lighthouse data, then fix the slow code
Calibre now ships a read-only MCP server that gives Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT access to an account's RUM, CrUX and Synthetic data, included on every plan with nothing to install. It lands days after Test Agents moved to Chrome 156 and Lighthouse 13.6.0, which added audits for how AI agents read pages. Admins can disable MCP per organisation and revoke connections, and the Company-plan audit log records them.
SeaTunnel 3.0 ends a six-month gap with 927 PRs and 30 new connectors.
Apache SeaTunnel shipped 3.0.0 on 30 September, its first release since March: 927 merged PRs, 30 new connectors (BigQuery, Salesforce, Google and TikTok Ads, Stripe, Shopify, Mem0, Deep Lake and more), a Python transform, PostgreSQL CDC add-column schema evolution and connectivity dry-runs for S3 and Kafka sources. The prior 2.3.13 release made large files splittable across readers.

Calibre is turning its monitoring data into something agents act on rather than something people read in dashboards. The summer work on deployment markers, all-pages aggregates and the audit log built the context and governance an agent needs: which deploy, which page, who connected. Expect the remaining surface to follow the same path, with agents both querying performance and being measured by it.
The likely next step is write access or deploy-linked workflows over MCP, such as an agent opening a fix tied to a regression marker, since the current server is explicitly read-only and the launch frames fixing as the goal.

The connector catalogue is moving beyond databases and file stores into SaaS APIs and ad platforms, plus vector and memory stores. Schema evolution in CDC sources keeps widening, one database at a time, and the major version resets expectations after a lengthening release interval.
Expect 3.0.x patch releases fixing the new connectors, given how much landed in one version.
